Who is Gary Brainerd, Ph.D.?
Dr. Brainerd is a clinical psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Southern California. He has offices in Pasadena and Encino, California.

Dr. Brainerd also regularly presents workshops and seminars for couples, singles and parents. He is a certified Workshop Presenter for the nationally acclaimed Getting the Love You Want workshop for couples and the Keeping the Love You Find workshop for singles.

In addition, he presents his own, The Incredible Power of Two seminar for couples and the Giving the Love They Need workshop for parents. Dr. Brainerd is the founder of the Couple's Garden, a marriage support "Smart Date Night" program that supports and encourages couples to take the time to periodically prioritize an evening to take care of and nourish their relationship. These low cost seminars are offered in several churches around Southern California and other parts of the United States.

Dr. Brainerd was the founding President of the Southern California Chapter of the Association for Imago Relationship Therapy and served with distinction on the National Board of the Association for Imago Relationship Therapy.
