Who is Gary Brainerd, Ph.D.?
Dr. Brainerd is a clinical psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Southern California. He has offices in Pasadena and Encino, California.

Dr. Brainerd also regularly presents workshops and seminars for couples, singles and parents. He is a certified Workshop Presenter for the nationally acclaimed Getting the Love You Want workshop for couples.

Dr. Brainerd is the founder of the Couple's Garden, a marriage support "Smart Date Night" program that supports and encourages couples to take the time to periodically prioritize an evening to take care of and nourish their relationship. These low cost seminars are offered in several churches around Southern California and other parts of the United States.

"Smart Date Night" seminars are now available Online in a Webcast for couples around the world.

Dr. Brainerd was the founding President of the Southern California Chapter of the Association for Imago Relationship Therapy and served with distinction on the National Board of the Association for Imago Relationship Therapy.
